Our family wants to express our condolence. We remember Jimmy at Little League and other baseball games, and know that he enjoyed being with his son. Those were happy times for all of us. May you be comforted by happy memories of your time with Jimmy. v/r, the McAuliffes

To Kyra, Colleen, James, & Cassidy.
Words can not express how sorry we are to hear about your loss. The first time we met Mr. Govan he talked about what a special and good kid Kyra was. He was bursting with pride. He told us of the time she cleaned the bathroom with out being asked and had everything lined up so perfectly. I thought it was so nice how much he appreciated that small act of kindness that some of us would have overlooked. His pride and dedication to his family was evident at every school event he attended and all the wonderful things he shared about his children's accomplishments. You could tell that nothing gave him more pleasure than his children. I hope there is some comfort in knowing how openly proud he was of all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
P.S. Please, let Kyra know that Gabby is very concerned about her and would love to see her when she is ready.

Colleen, James, Cassidy, & Kyra,
We are so very saddened for your loss. Jimmy was a great person. He loved his family with all his heart and would do anything for you. He most recently told me a story of James escaping from his bed and hiding behind the door, laughing the whole time. No matter where you go in life just take the memories of your dad and husband with you to comfort you. He will be missed by so many. Please call if there is anything you need. We love you guys!

To Kyra, Cassidy, James and Mrs. Govan,
I am deeply saddened to hear the news of your Dad and husband's passing. I always enjoyed seeing Mr. Govan at Spann school gatherings-Meet the Teacher night, PTA meetings, Quiz Bowl and others. He always had a smile and a funny comment about something. I now know where Kyra gets her sense of humor! It was a pleasure knowing him. I do know this, he absolutely adored and loved his family. Kyra, please come to see me when school begins and you know I am there for you for anything that you need. Please know that my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Try to keep the fun memories close in your heart when times are really hard.
With my deepest sympathy and love,
