Sis Glisson, My heart was sadden to hear about the passing of your father, but I praise God that I did have the opportunity of meeting him. Just know that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. As I reflect back on the time that the doctor's were saying one thing, but God perserved his life until he was ready. You will always be in my prayers.

To live is Christ, and to die is gain. You have put off mortal and put on immortality. Unless a seed falls into the ground and die, it abides alone. Your life living have been planted in the hearts of your family as we celebrate the Victory in Christ over the grave. We sorrow not as your memories reminds us of where we are headed...eternal life with Jesus. Enjoy the Journey.

Dear Family Members,
I send this note of simpathy and love to you to share my grief with you because I too have lost a father, a friend and a great teacher. I knew his name for a long time, but GOD brought us together a few years ago after he retired as a Pastor and went to work sharing his love for GOD with his hometown church family. We were able to talk for hours at a time about everything. I pray for strength for the family. But must remind you of his lifelong works for this day to hear "Servant, well done, Come on up, you have been faithful." I am so sorry that I won't be able to share in this homegoing service. I will see you later this month, GOD Willing.
Love, Henry Griffin

Jametrice, Jamelia and Jimmy:
We are deeply saddened by the loss of your father. We became very close to Rev Glisson, when he pastored at Greater Howard Chapel AME. and maintained that closeness through the years. He was a true man of God, a great leader, an inspiration to all those he encountered, as he spread the gospel. Be assured that he is resting in the arms of the Lord.
