James Epting Obituary

I use to work with JAMES at a couple different electrical companies and was trying to find him and found this, Jay definitely tought me quite a bit about life and work.. I'm very sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to the family.

Mr. and Mrs Epting, Donna, and Paige,
I just learned about Jay's passing this past weekend. Since I am currently living in Louisiana, I don't get current happenings with my long time friends. I went to high school with Jay and had some of my most exciting, crazy and funny times with him. He still brings a smile to my face just thinking about him! He was somewhat of a "big brother" to me and I find some sort of peace knowing he is entertaining the angels! I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you.

I have just learned of Jay's passing today and I am very sorry to hear it. I grew up with Jay and had the most wonderful time doing so. Jay's personality and humor always kept everyone in great spirits and he ALWAYS kept everybody entertained. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that the knowledge that he is painfree and in the arms of our Lord will give you peace in the coming days. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Jay's passing. Just the thoughtof him will all ways bring a smile to my face. Many years have passed but my memories of Jay will be forever. Your family are in my prayers. Lanniee your father was a wounderful man, full of life and all ways had a big smile. You are the love of his life.

I am so saddened to hear about Jay. We went to school together until we graduated from Ft. Johnson, and I am sorry to say I've not seen him since. My first thought when my mom told me, was that he was one of the very first people to be my friend when I moved to James Island in the fifth grade. His smile and friendly personality will always be with us. Thought and prayer be with you.

Dear Epting Family,

I went to school with Jay and he worked for my ex husband's electrical contracting company for years. I was so sorry to hear he had passed. My deepest sympathy goes out to you all.

It has been some time since I have communicated with any James Island friends.Tim Corley called me and informed me of Jay's plight. I have so many memories of your son from high school days and our rooming together as fresman Citadel cadets. He was a great friend over the years and I am guilty for not always keeping up with him. I will write in the near future to further express to you my condolences and fond memories I have of your son. I think of you and your kindness you have afforded me and as always my sympathies are endless.

The James Island PSD Fire Department was saddened to learn about of James' passing. Tommy was the former Fire Chief and served James Island for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Dear Janette and Tommie, I am so sorry to hear that your son has made the transition from the human body to the eternal one. We are supposed to rejoice in that but we are so human that it is very difficult to do as we should. I can truly identify as I lost my "baby" son at age 37. My love, thought and prayers are with you.
