James "Jimmy" Earl Davis CHARLESTON - James Earl Davis, "Jimmy," 67, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Deborah Esposito Davis, went home into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, September 27, 2025. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 3rd, 2025, at Charleston First Assembly, 2957 Savannah Hwy., at 1:00 pm. The family will receive loved ones and friends one hour before the service at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel. Jimmy was born on February 22, 1958, in Deland, Florida, the son of the late Mary Katherine Cisco. Jimmy worked with Estes Express Lines for over 40 years, as well as owned and operated his own landscaping business, Jim's Lawn Care. Jimmy loved his work, spending time outside, ministering to and helping others, and most importantly, loving and caring for his family. Jimmy loved everyone with all his heart, and everyone who came into his life was and still is his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Taylor Davis; son, Tyler Davis; sister, Kathy Oliver (Joey); several nieces and nephews; Remi and Mylo (pets); and all of the rest of his animals that he loved and cared for dearly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Buddy and sister, Wanda. In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Charleston Animal Society, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, or Angels of Hope.
