James Chandler Obituary

James Arthur Chandler, Jr. N. CHARLESTON - James Arthur Chandler, Jr., (Jim), aged 90, of N. Charleston, went home to the Lord on March 21st. He peacefully passed at home with his children at his side. Mr. Chandler was born in Prophetstown, IL. He was the youngest of 7 brothers and sisters. He is predeceased by his wife, Frances Joanne. He is succeeded in life by children Kimberly Cosgrove of N. Charleston, and James Arthur Chandler III of Chicago IL, 5 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren. He was the first in his family to attend college at Bradley University attaining his Bachelor's in Business Administration. He attained his MBA from Northwestern University later in life. He entered the field of Human Resources after college, where he worked until his retirement. He enjoyed DIY projects, fishing, and golf. He was a world traveler and was an avid painter and artisan. Service will be held Saturday, April 2nd at Riverbluff Church with visitation at 11:00 and 12:00. Visit our guestbook at legacy.com/obituaries/charleston
