CWO3 James P. Brown, Jr. LADSON - CWO3 James P. Brown, Jr., 80, of Ladson, husband of Mary Evelyn (Maxwell) Brown, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Trident Medical Center. Friends and family may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 1 o'clock until hour of service. Funeral services will begin at 2 o'clock PM. Entombment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens in Moncks Corner. James was born on June 6, 1934 in Brooklawn, NJ, son of the late James P. Brown, Sr. and Thelma (Hamilton) Brown. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served for 27 years. He was an amateur radio operator and enjoyed traveling. Surviving in addition to his wife Evelyn are: four children: Julia K. Newton (James Flagg) of Moncks Corner, Kimberly Kempson (Tracy Weisheit) of Ladson, James P. Brown, III (Sarah) of Indian Land, SC and Lawrence M. Brown (Robin) of Sanford, FL; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jamesadyal.com. Charles and I heard about Mr Brown passing today after coming home from Florida. We are so saddened to hear this. I was just thinking about you this morning. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We miss you and the dogs really miss you! Please call us if you need anything. We don't have your new number so I really hope you get this. I send hugs to you and the family and I have a coffee cup waiting at my house for you if you make it back to visit us on Rimrock!
