Mr. Beckett was my father's best friend and co-worker for many years. His deeds of kindness toward our family will never be forgotten. He was always there for others rarely thinking of himself. He will be missed by all. I consider myself lucky to have known him. Dad past away almost 25 years ago and now they are together once again.

Jim was a fine example of what a Christian should be. Gail and I will never forget his kindness to us while we lived in the lowcountry.

Mr. Beckett was a good man, member of Johns Islan Presbyterian Church, and a gift of God to all who knew him. He is going to be missed by his family, friends and anyone who came in contact with him. We can all rest with the assurance that he is now with God and watching over all. May he remembered for all he did and his fine example of what God would want us to do.
