So very sorry to hear of Don´s passing. He always had a beautiful smile on his face when he came into Pivot´s & Elk´s when I worked there. Prayers for strength & peace.

Didn´t know about the passing of Don until I just read the obituary. Paige and family my heart is so heavy right now because what a wonderful person and friend we have loss.
Don is at peace and just a few weeks ago I had a wonderful conversation with my friend.
I will always cherish the memories and the smile he had for everyone that was around him.

Fond memories of Don as a colleague at SupShips Charleston. He was a true, knowledgeable and demanding professional while always personable and pleasant to work with.

I remember Don as one of our after-school Park Circle faithful. He went one to become a true public servant and community leader. A good life indeed!

Donald was a classmate of mine at North Charleston High School class of 1957.

Knew Donald and family when they first moved to North Charleston. Tommy was born and I took care of him. Love this family still today. Thoughts and prayers with family today. Love Zelda

Donald and I worked at North Charleston High School together for many years. We played hundreds of rounds of golf together. He occasionally invited me to join him for UNC-Clemson football and basketball games over the years. Donald was an advocate for all kids, especially for those who were considered at-risk. While I served as Principal of North Charleston High School, Donald was as great as it gets as a Student Concern Specialist. In fact, he became the standard for that podition when it was originally created by CCSD. I am heartbroken over the loss of a dear friend and a highly respected colleague. Life well lived, sir. Life well lived. My sincerest condolences to Paige and to Donald's extended family members .

Donald was my husband, Tony Martin´s friend. They shared a love of boxing, football and baseball as youths. May you RIP, Donald, and May your legacy of good works carry on.

Thoughts and prayers to all family and friends. I met Donald in 1960. He was one a of a kind. Loved people and a good time. Just reconnected with him on Facebook after losing touch for years. RIP my friend.
