Family-Placed Death Notice
MITCHELL, Jacquelyn Mrs. Jacquelyn West Mitchell, 78, of Decatur, died September 23, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, September 27 at A.S. Turner & Sons in Decatur with visitation at 3 p.m. Burial will be private. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, Glisson Lawrence Mitchell, DVM, and her daughter, Laurie Ashley Bartlett. She is survived by her grandson, Jackson Warren Dukes of Atlanta; her brother, Benjamin West of Waycross; her cousin, Mary R.Hessick and husband Terry of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and many caring friends and neighbors.
