Jackie and I worked together at Franklin C Fetter and remained good friends. She was there for me, even when if it was at the last minute. She help me prepare for my first son and how to care for plants. I will forever miss my friend. Someone who genuinely cared for people. We lost a gem. Gone but not forgotten- Cynthia S.

I met Jackie gardening in the backyard, as she lived behind me in Charleston. Initially, we started talking about our dogs that would run along the fence between our backyards, but it quickly turned into gardening and what we should be planting this time of year. We would swap plants over the fence and always pick up plant gifts when we would find unique things shopping around. We would spend hours out in the yard chatting away over the back fence, which turned into many dinner parties over at my house.
Jackie was one of the most beautiful people I have had the pleasure to know. She is gentle, kind-hearted, and has a laugh that is contagious.
Jackie, "my girl" as I would call her, will be forever loved and missed, but always present in my heart.
