Jacqueline Rabb Watson Charleston - Jacqueline Rabb Watson, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Leo L. Watson entered into eternal rest Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street at 12:00 p.m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel. Jackie was born August 21, 1932 in Columbia, South Carolina, daughter of the late Jack H. Rabb and Ethel Blume Rabb. Along with her mother and sister, she moved to Charleston, graduating as the last official class from Memminger High School. Jackie attended MUSC Pharmacy School and completed vocational office training. She married Leo and raised two children. She was a working Mom, employed at J.S. Weeks and Company as an office clerk and later at MUSC Eye Institute as a medical secretary. Jackie was fortunate to work with her sister at the Eye Institute and retired from MUSC after more than 20 years of dedicated service. She was a long standing member of Citadel Square Baptist Church for 71 years, where she attended Sunday school, church, and cared for the children in the church's nursery. Jackie supported and attended many church gatherings. She shared her love of God and Worship at Citadel Square with her mother, son, daughter, and two nieces. Jackie enjoyed and participated in her family's activities with love and appreciation. She is survived by her two children: Lawrence H. Watson (Maxine) of Isle Of Palms, SC and Pamela W. Howard (Michael) of Charleston, SC; sister, Ann Rabb Malia (Gerald) of Charleston, SC; granddaughter, Amy E. Sisson (Marshall) and great-grandson, Liam A. Murphy of James Island, SC.
