"Aunt" Jackie was only 4 1/2 years older than myself and that small difference became a continuing source of amusement between us, whenever our families visited. Being a current 24/7 caregiver for my own Mom for the past 5 years, has kept me from keeping in touch with a lot of family members, including you too - Aunt Jackie - (I know - "don't call me Aunt Jackie"). Please give your Mom and warm hug from me too. And here's a photo of my "Aunt" Jackie - her mother standing - and myself seated.

Dear Arlyn and family.
I only met y'all about 11 yrs ago. I was so lucky that I found my cousin "Jackie" Carroll and her family On two trips down to SC she & I enjoyed hunting down Carrolls in the various cemeteries around Rock Hill and York. She became interested in her Carroll genealogy and I shared lots of things with her. Jackie was one of the most gracious and delightful of southern ladies. She made my trips there a lasting memory. i still drink sweet tea with a little Southern Comfort in memory of my time with her. I will miss her dearly.

Dear Arlyn and family,
We send our prayers to you, and even though we cannot come to Charleston for the service for Jackie, we will be thinking of her and you.
