RIP. You will be truly missed. So many times I have walked past your house on Sumter Street and when you were on the porch, you never failed to speak to me. It made me feel good as a young black man to be acknowledged. Blessings to your family. I know they learned much about graciousness and kindness from you.

To The Family of Jacob Scott,
I was Blessed to know
Mr. Scott. He loved my daughter, LaToya. My husband
Mose (deceased) spent many days sitting on the porch with him talking and laughing.
Cherish the GREAT memories that you have shared over the years. The Lord will give you the strength you need during this time of bereavement. Love Always

Dear Scott Family,
I had the great pleasure of knowing Jacob a for many years. At first, as a customer but then and most importantly, as my dear friend. He was truly a good man. I reflect back with much fondness all the conversations and laughs we shared.
My prayers and thought are with the entire family during this time.
Glory is now his as he is now in the loving arms of our Lord.

To the family of Mr. Scott,
You have my sincerest condolences. I used to provide footcare for him, and found him to be so personable with a hardy laugh that makes me smile just thinking about it. He was blessed. I am reminded of Psalm 91: He shall call upon me and I will answer him; I will set him on high, because he has known my name. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation. Fly free, Mr. Scott, and thank you so much for the privilege of having known you.

Brenda & Family,
Mr. Scott spent several years participating with the Seniors Ministry's activities at Wallingford Presbyterian Church. Our time spent with him was an enjoyable one. We have few men that attend the activities, and Mr. Scott was always a true Christian, Black Man. Remember, God makes no mistake, he is resting with the Savior and his legacy will live on, in our hearts, forever. He will be missed.
