My deepest Condolences to the family, I have great memories of jaaky especially New Year´s Eve in the late sixties-at the home of Joop and Katherine-I can just see him playing his tuba, and after a ruckus night he developed huge swollen lips the product of enjoying himself blowing his instrument, it was a sight to behold- he could hardly talk!
He definitely enjoyed a good party and everyone around him immersed themselves in his happiness
May he now play at heavens gate

Jaaky will be missed, all my memories of him are filled with love, laughter and music. He was one of the reason I learned to play the saxophone .(not nearly as good by any means as Jaaky).
Love to all
