May I offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jack Meadows whom I came to know as a fellow member of the H.L. Hunley Camp, Sons of Confederate Veterans in Summerville. Jack was a devoted member of the Hunley Camp being involved in the Hunley Award for ROTC students, the SC Confederate Relic Room and Confederate Heritage Trust. He was loved and trusted by all members and was diligent in his efforts to honor his Confederate ancestors. He was always adament in attending state and national SCV reunions and his loss will be keenly felt across the state and beyond. I will personally miss his friendship as we often chatted about our shared Army experiences. Rest in peace my friend with the men in grey and butternut whom you admired so well! I hope to see you again in the Heavenly realms! Salute!
With deepest sympathy,
