Jack McGee Obituary

Jack McGee Indian Trail, NC - Mr. McGee, age 81, of Indian Trail, NC, formerly of Mount Pleasant passed away on October 15, 2017. He was born on June 6, 1936. Jack was a member of the USMC and served with VMA 331 from 1954 until 1956. Mr. McGee was employed at the Charleston Air Force Base, where he was the supervisor of the Non-Destructive Inspection Dept., until 1986. Jack was the owner of Top Gun/Buckhorn Carolina Shooting Range in Mount Pleasant. He was involved in Ducks Unlimited and a lifetime member of the South Carolina Waterfowl Association. He was an avid upland game hunter. He and his wife, Eileen, traveled in their motor-coach "full time" for many years spending most of their time in the western part of the United States, an area of the country Jack dearly loved. Jack is survived by his wife Eileen Rogers McGee, daughters Lynn McGee Cannon, Kellie McGee Brown, and son Jack McGee, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on October 19, 2017 at 7PM at Indian Trail UMC. Indian Trail, NC. Burial will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made, in honor of Jack McGee, to Indian Trail United Methodist Church Building Fund, 113 Indian Trail Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
