Jack was such an interesting and kind person. We always enjoyed visiting with he and Carol at the pool on Seabrook. Jack would tell stories about his lifetime adventures, or talk about the latest book he was reading.
My husband John, my daughter Chloe, and I will miss seeing our dear friend each summer.
It was an honor and a blessing to have known Jack.

I met Jack at St. Andrews Physical Fitness in West Ashley years ago. He is one of the nicest people that I have known.

He found out that I am in real estate (I manage real estate and therefore deal with the Magistrate System). I told him about a serious issue with one particular magistrate and a few days later, that magistrate had shaped up the way her court was run because of his influential advice. Every property manager owes him a debt of thanks.

I will miss his engaging smile and his bits of wisdom.

Kindest regards to your family,
Steve David

Carol, I have lost one of my heroes and role models and you have lost a lot more. Linda and I enjoyed you both back in the Navy, Magistrate and tennis era. And I will always appreciate the assistance and advice he provided when our daughter was a victim and the bad guy needed to go to prison and stay there for a long time. Sincere condolences, Rik and Linda Dilgren

Guedalia Family

Jack was a long-time owner of a Creek Watch villa on Seabrook Island. He served on the Board for many years and was a great help to our endeavors and in providing sage advice to others.

He allowed me to claim a chair in the shade of our swimming pool and to use
the concrete waste basket to dispose of my cigars. I was also allowed to spend no more than five to ten minutes discussing Creek Watch business. In his view, pool time was for rest, relaxation, and reading. I now view this area as Jack's Corner.

He will be missed.

Dear Carol and Family,
We are sorry to hear about your loss, but hope in time your memories give you comfort. I will always reflect back on the Judge being part of my life, professionally and personally. He always made time to review my work, even after hours in your living room. He also assisted in guiding me to other professional aspirations. More importantly, he made time to officiate our wedding. Judge was a solid man and true patriot. He will be missed by all of us who met him.

Some people in this world are bigger than life and are an honour to know, love, and enjoy the warmth of their light. I am forever grateful to have enjoyed the pleasure of knowing Jack and will always appreciate the tenderness and generosity of spirit he shared with me and my family. I trust and hope everyone in the family will find comfort in knowing of all the remarkable kindness that was appreciated by everyone who was blessed by the gift of his presence and particularly his wisdom. We loved Jack as we love you and hope you will be comforted during this passage as loss is difficult to endure. With all of my love, Juleanne Judy Bryan, john Thaddeus Judy and all of the remaining family of Marvin & Hazel Judy

I am a practicing psychiatrist at MUSC and had the pleasure of working with Judge Guedalia for many years in Probate Court. He was a champion for the treatment of mentally ill persons and an inspiration to those around him. He has and will be missed.

Dear Carol and family,

We have so many wonderful memories of Judge Jack. He was such a giving person and took delight in making the world a better place, not only through his work at the Charleston County Probate Court but through his daily kindness to his co-workers, friends and family.

One of our fondest family memories is of Judge Jack playing Santa Claus for Joseph's early birthday parties. We will always remember Judge Jack laughing, smiling and giving.

May God grant you comfort and help you hold on to your many happy memories of this wonderful man.

With love and prayers,
Michelle, Irv and Joseph Condon

Met the good Judge Guedalia in 1993. He played a major role in my NCIS hiring process. I wouldn't be where I am career wise if it wasn't for the judge. I will miss him and his many stories he shared about his NCIS/Navy career. Prayers for the family.

Judge G,
It is with a very heavy heart that my thoughts and prayers go out to your family during their time of sorrow. For 8 years I had the honor and the privilege
to serve as your lead court bailiff in Bond Hearing and to call you friend. You taught me so many things that I applied to my career in law enforcement and I would like to think that it made me a better officer. And that Dear Sir I thank you for.

I was in the Naval Reserve intelligence unit with Jack in the mid 1970s. As the only enlisted man in the unit, I was always treated with respect by our CO, Jack. While I have not seen him in many years, I've never forgotten his kindness, his professionalism and his great sense of humor. My condolences to the family on the loss of a fine man.
