Iva Nelson Obituary

NELSON, Iva TEXAS - Mrs. Iva Lillian Nelson, 88, of Saginaw, Texas, formerly of Walterboro died Wednesday evening September 12, 2007 in Forth Worth, Texas. She was married to the late Mr. Forrest Clifford Nelson formerly of Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be held 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, September 15, 2007, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Hendersonville Highway, Walterboro. Mrs. Nelson was born July 5, 1919, in Pollock, Louisiana and was a daughter of the late Joseph Elliott Roberts and the late Nona Calk Roberts. Surviving are: her children, F.R. "Bobby" Nelson of Walterboro, Gwen Jernigan of Saginaw, Texas, Linda Newman of Lexington, Jeanne White of Irving, Texas, Rick Nelson of Newton, Texas, and H. Jay Nelson of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Evelyn Nelson of Portland, Oregon; a brother, J. Vernon Roberts of Longview, Texas; twelve grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
