Irene Kemble Obituary
Irene E. (Edge) Kemble, 82, of Upper Macungie Township, formerly of West Amwell Township, N.J., died Monday, June 15, 2009, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Hugh W. Kemble, who died August 24, 2006. Born on May 12, 1927 in Summit, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Alan F. and Beatrice (Frisby) Edge. Irene worked as a secretary at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, N.J. She attended St. Georges Episcopal Church, Hellertown. Survivors: Son, Bruce A. of Bordentown, N.J.; daughter, Joan S., wife of Thomas A. Goodwin Sr. of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Thomas A. Goodwin Jr. and Kristina M. Goodwin. Predeceased by two sisters and a brother. Service: Family and friends are invited to call 9-10 a.m. Friday at St. Georges Episcopal Church, 735 Delaware Avenue, Hellertown, followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at West Amwell Cemetery, N.J.
