Ingrid Carolyn Nowicki LADSON - Ingrid Carolyn Nowicki, Ladson, SC - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Ingrid Carolyn Nowicki, on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Carolyn was born September 27, 1939, in Berkeley County, South Carolina, daughter of Richard David Mizell and Mary Olive Buff Mizell. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Victor Nowicki; her parents, Richard and Mary Mizell; sisters, Dorita James (Jack, deceased), Mary Roberts (Bob, deceased); her son, John Lawrence Mims; and stepson, Mark Anthony Nowicki. Carolyn is survived by her children, David Berkley Mims (Debby), Robert Nelson Mims (Sandy), and Judy Mims Lutes (Bobby); and her stepchildren, Dwayne Victor Nowicki, Debra Ann Nowicki Burnett, and Henry Victor Nowicki, Jr. She is survived by 7 grandchildren: Shane Mims (Lauren), Cassie Mims Crane (Charlie), Brandon Lutes (Carrie), Megan Lutes Lecholop (Kinon), Cameron Lutes, Caleb Lutes, Kimberly Mims (Erik); 8 step-grandchildren, Christina Creel (Tommy), Brittany Burnette, Randall Burnette, Christopher Burnette (fiance;' Morgan Ihnen), Jaime Nowicki Deaton, Mara Nowicki Demery, Victor Nowicki, Ashley Nowicki Olivares (Ashton). Carolyn's great-grandchildren are Emory Rose Crane, Reade Lecholop, Colton Lecholop, Davidson Lutes, Grayson Lutes, Anderson Lutes, Faith Creel, Lillian Creel, Trenton Creel, Colton Gonzales, Caleb Burnette, Bailey Burnette, Captain Demery, Jack Nowicki, Aydon Gillespie, Avalyn Olivares, Jaxson Olivares, Alaina Olivares. We wish to invite our family and friends to celebrate her life with us on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the International Church of God, 1560 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29407. Visitation is at 2:00 pm, and the service will begin at 3:00 PM. Interment is Friday, May 19th, 10:30 AM, Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner, SC.
