Ila Mae Welch RIDGEVILLE - Ila Mae Lee Welch, 88, widow of Robert Owens Welch of Ridgeville, SC, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Trident Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday morning, January 22, 2010 at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in Bonne Rest Cemetery. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 - 8 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Epworth Children's Home, PO Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29250. Mrs. Welch was born May 24, 1921 in Conway, SC, a daughter of D. D. Lee and Annie Thompkins Lee. She was a retired mail carrier and was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son Robert Wayne Welch and wife Lynn Welch of Ridgeville; two grandchildren, Lee Ann Welch of Savannah, GA and William Clayton Welch of Ridgeville; and one great-grandchild, Waylon Welch of Summerville.
