My fondest memory of Hugh, who was my brothers best friend as children, was when O"Hear Ave. was being paved and heavy rains had made the dirt muddy and soft. This little girl, me, got bogged down to her waist and couldn't get out. Luckily, Hugh and Quincy Brooks were there, for it took the two of them to pull me out. Thank you, Hugh, for being there, I remember you fondly. My condolences to family and friends.
