Howard Eugene Graham SUMMERVILLE - On Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, Howard Eugene Graham passed away peacefully with his grandchildren by his side at age 82. Howard was born on 1939 in Crenshaw, MS. He lived a life of service spending 26 years in the US military and 19 years working for the US government. He was married to Shirley Graham in May of 1961 and together they had one daughter, Tracy King. Howard, affectionately known as "Handsome Howard," was good man. He never met a stranger and loved to make people smile. He always had a joke to share and a story to tell. Everyone loved to hear his stories, as they were always so entertaining. The military moved him around a lot but, even into retirement, he loved to travel. He was a God-fearing man who loved his country and his family. He was a wonderful husband and father and an extraordinary Papaw to his two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Howard was preceded in death by his father, Lawerence Graham, his mother, Valeria Graham, and three of his brothers. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Graham, his daughter, his 2 grandchildren, his 6 great- grandchildren, and his brother. Donations in his honor may be made to The American Legion.
