Dear Karen and family, I was so sorry to read in the Charleston newspaper about your father, but I didn't have your address since I have moved out of Columbia. I remember visiting your family home in Beaufort about 40 years ago and was warmly received. Your father was a favorite of mine; I admired his caring intelligence and enjoyed being around him. I know you will miss him. With much love, Lollie
