Howard Clopper Obituary

CLOPPER, Howard Howard D. Clopper of Denton, MD, died Saturday, December 15, 2007, at his home. He was 68 years old. Born in Ridgely, Mr. Clopper was the son of the late David Freeland Clopper, Sr. and Ruth Sewell Clopper. He was a 1957 graduate of Caroline High School in Denton. Mr. Clopper was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had retired December 1st from the State of MD DGS at the District Court in Centreville, MD. He was a member of Thawley's Chapel United Methodist Church near Denton. Mr. Clopper is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Grace Motte Clopper of Denton; one daughter, Brenda Clopper Lewis of Summerville, SC; one son, Christopher Howard Clopper of Summerville, SC; one brother, David F. Clopper of Denton; and one grandchild, Shelby Hannah Lewis of Summerville, SC. Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday, December 20th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may call from 6 until 8 on Wednesday evening and from 12 until 1 before the service. The family suggests, instead of flowers, for friends to send memorial donations to the Thawley's Chapel, 23164 Thawley Road, Denton, MD 21629. Visit our guestbook at www.charleston.net/deaths.
