I'm glad I got to see Hawk one more time, at his home recently.
A visit with Hawk was always meaningful, whether we talked about motorcycles, hunting, or life one day at a time. He was a strong supporter of the latter, and our lives will continue to be better because of his presence.
I will miss him, but I'll be thinking of him come opening day of deer season, or sometimes on the road as I ride my motorcycle, or just whenever I get a good feeling about life.
Rest well, Hawk, you've earned your reward in Heaven.

I've known Hawk for over 15 years and am proud to call him a friend. He was always there with kind or helpful words for me. Years ago he helped me with a very serious problem I was having and for that I will be eternally grateful. He will be missed dearly.
