Hope Swanner Ward Summerville - Hope S. Ward, 96, of Summerville, SC, passed away on March 11, 2017. She was the widow of William E. Ward. She was born on October 12, 1920 in Orental, NC and was the daughter of C.G. Swanner, Sr. and Sallie Swanner. Funeral services will be private. She is survived by son, Charles Ward (Martha) of Summerville, SC; brother, James Buddy Swanner (Candy) of Jacksonville, FL; three sisters, Nell Jones (JD) of Washington, NC, Mary Stewart (Lee) of Hampton, VA, Linda Mason of Fayetteville, GA; granddaughter, Terrie Long (Billy) of Summerville, SC; three great-granddaughters, Beth Greenlee (Avery) of Summerville, SC, Amanda Branham (Chad) of Chapin, SC, Brooke Ward of Collegeville, PA; one great-grandson, Ryan Ward of Summerville; one great-great-grandson, Hampton Greenlee of Summerville; one great-great-granddaughter, Harper Branham, of Chapin, SC; special friends, Duncan Moore family of Washington, NC, and Dr. Jason Stone of Summerville, SC.
