Outside of my family, Herb was the closest friend I have ever had.We spent many evenings drinking Waffle House coffee and "solving" the problems of the world!! I believe that between us, we could have done just that, too!!!
My hearts aches for all of his family.May God hold you all close and ease your suffering.
God Bless you all.

John,I and Herb spent many hours together taking pictures Christmas at Pinehaven years ago with the Santa Claus Trailer. Herb was an exceptional kind and thoughtful person, who was admired by all that met him. Herb was a dear friend.
May the gentle love of family and friends help to ease your sorrow.
God Bless.
