Herbert Marion Stone BRUNSWICK, GA - Entered into eternal rest on Monday morning April 18, 2011, Herbert Marion Stone, 83, widow of Elizabeth Veronee Stone. Residence Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside funeral services on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at eleven o'clock am at CAROLINA MEMORIAL PARK. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from ten o'clock until eleven o'clock am at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. Herbert was born January 22, 1928, in Henderson, SC to the late William Albert Stone and Tucker Murdaugh Stone. He had been an employee with the CSX railroad for 42 years and two months. Survivors include his daughter, Charlene Howell and her husband Jeff of Aiken, SC, a son, Gary Stone and his wife Kim of St. Marys, GA, brothers, Russell R. Stone of Summerville, SC and Virgil Stone of Mosell, SC and grandchildren, April Howell and Ashley Howell, Brian Stone and Blake Stone. He was predeceased by his sister, Susan S. Roumillat.
