So it's with great sadness that our dear friend Herbert (Hamp) Morrison passed away. We had come to know him when we came to Edisto Island a few years ago. We shared food, laughs and listened to stories about growing up on Edisto. He as a dapper fine man and was always helping others. He always treated us with such respect as we did him. You will truly be missed. Our condolences and prayers to the family and friends as well as our dear friend Franzina (Fran) Nelson who brought Hamp into our lives.

Our deepest condolences to the Morrison Family and Special Friend Franzina U. Nelson. Affectionately known as "Hamp" was a very expressiveness individual. He enjoyed talking with people and was full of joy. I am elated that I had the opportunity to meet him. Rest in Peace young man.
