Walter, Bill and Tina, So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. You all have been in my thoughts and prayers.

Loved this lady during my early Christian teen age life. She was like a second mother to me. I know she is in a better place today. She will be missed.

Heaven gained an angel. Marlene was a wonderful christian lady. She will be miss. Bill, you and the family are in my prayers. May God give you comfort and peace during your times of need. I loved Miss Marlene!!

I was blessed to know ms. marlene she was a very sweet woman. she was very good to my family. and everyone that went to central babtist.she will be mist very much.

Our lifes were touched by this loving and caring Sister in the Lord. Marlene's love and caring kindness showed in all she did for others throughout her life. We will never forget the love and tenderness that she shared with us. Like a mother caring and praying for us always through our journey in this world, as she gave us the hope and encouragement for the yet eternal life to come. This Promise she has now achieved, as she walks on the streets of gold with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May we hold onto her Faith, Love, and Hope and we remember her today and Always in our hearts.
Lord , Please Bless Bill, family , and friends at this time to hold fast to the comfort of our Lord Jesus and the joy to know that our Marlene is in the presence of our Creator and Master and that all her labors here are now rewards and our promise to be with her again holds fast .

When I first went to Central Baptist she was my Sunday school teacher. She was instrumental in my decision to stay there and ultimately because of that I was saved in 1981. My family and I loved her very much. We so sorry that we cannot be with you there since we are on vacation. However, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so blessed to have known Ms. Marlene! It is because of her love of children that I learned many things about Jesus! What a wonderful legacy to leave behind! Mr. Bill and family thank you for sharing her with me, she will be missed!

I want to thank God for bringing such a God fearing lady into my life. She was such an inspiration to everyone who crossed her path! She is now with my mom and grannie and papaw Sluder in that heavenly choir. She left many footprints here on earth. Love to the family and close friends. Wish I could make it to the funeral but I've gotta work. Xoxo
