To My Family,
Uncle Henry will definitely be missed. I have so many childhood memories and remember many opportunities he afforded us that we may not have experienced without him. I loved the fact that "Linda Mae" appeared to have been his favorite because wherever he took her i.e., Brookgreen Garden, Folly Beach, The Park and the Amusement Park down at Riverside Beach, we got to tag along. We had many discussions over the fence over the past several years. Standing there talking with him one evening brought tears streaming down my face as I told him how much he reminded me of my daddy and how blessed I felt to still have him and Uncle Willie. But family, my prayer for all of us is:
The Lord Bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face to shine upon you,And be gracious unto you;
The Lord lift His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

I have the best childhood memories with you. Being at the house in the Summer and at Christmas. Running through the yard. Taking plums off the tree. Slumber parties in the front room. You were the staple of our family. I love you so much and I'm going to miss you dearly Granddaddy. It still doesn't seem real. But I guess God needed your service in Heaven more than we needed you here on Earth. Until we meet again, rest easy.
