I miss my dear friend every day. He was such a sweet soul, a positive and loving person, a committed friend and father, and a person who just cared about the people in his life and wanted everyone to feel loved and happy. Everything about this city reminds me of him, and I'm happy that he left me with all of these memories.

My condolences to Henry's son and daughters. Although knowing each other for years Henry and I worked managing 2 properties he had built years earlier on Folly Beach. It was a pleasure to know and work with him he really loved and was proud of you kids and spoke often of you all to me.

My dear sweet friend passing saddened me greatly and from a tender age of 14 I always looked up him and a little in love with him also. My deepest condolences to Marlee, Shannon, Libby and Karen, Henry will be missed but not forgotten.

I met Henry in 1965 at SJC. We became fraternity brothers and I always thought he was the coolest guy. I saw him several years ago at a SJC get together in Charleston. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. This world has lost a prince of a guy.

Dear Shannon, Libby and Bill. I am deeply saddened by this news. I met your Dad when I lived on Oak Island in the late 1990's. He built the house I lived in on Palmer Creek Bend. He and your wonderful Mom quickly became good friends of mine. I have so many good memories of of them, boating on the creek, cook outs, hanging out on the dock and of course shagging at the Islanders Shag Club. Your Dad was indeed a true Southern Gentleman and he lived life to the fullest but his first priority was always his family. He loved you all very much and was so proud of your accomplishments. Henry was loved by many and will be sorely missed. I pray that God, through his amazing grace, will give peace and comfort to you, your families and all who loved Henry. RIP my dear friend.
