Henry Hammack Obituary

Henry Wyatt Hammack III MERRITT ISLAND, FL - Henry Wyatt Hammack III, known to all as Tripp, moved to heaven on September 23, 2021. The son of Patricia Thrift Hammack and Henry Wyatt Hammack Jr. (deceased) and the brother of Julie Hammack Poncar (Gregory) and Jason E Hammack (deceased). He is grieved by his widow, Kelly Hammack; his stepson, Austin Slom; his mother, sister and brother-in-law, his extended family and his best friend of 43 years whom he called his brother, Alan Rama. All of whom were with him during his final days and hours and who will always miss him. Tripp attended Windsor Academy in Macon, Georgia, and graduated from Hanahan High School in Hanahan, SC, in 1979. He moved to Florida and worked for over 30 years in the marine industry as a manufacturers representative and loved every minute of it. Going to a trade show with him was always a wonderful experience as he was never one to forget a face or a name and he always had kind words for everyone. Life on the road can be hard, but it was made easier by the countless friends he had made along the way. Tripp's life will be memorialized in many ways. His wish was to be cremated so that he can travel once again to the places and with the people who mattered most to him. His wife, Kelly, will hold a private ceremony in Florida, while his sister, Julie, will take him to the home their father built in North Carolina. It was a place he deeply loved and which holds many wonderful memories. His best friend, Alan, will take him fishing one last time. The family requests and looks forward to reading your comments and seeing your photos posted on Tripp's Facebook Tribute page. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a nonprofit, St. Francis Reflections Life Stage Center in Titusville, FL, (www.reflectionslsc.org). They helped Tripp and his family during the stages of his brain cancer which appeared suddenly, without warning and ultimately claimed him in a very short time. With their help he died at peace, without pain and with love in his heart. Gone too soon, but not forgotten. Happy boating Tripp. We will always love you.
