Henry Edward Foster CHARLESTON - Mr. Henry Edward Foster, 90, of Charleston, South Carolina passed away Friday, January 01, 2021. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 06, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Henry, affectionately known as "Eddie", was born on September 01, 1930 in New Haven, Connecticut to John Agustin Heacock and Henrietta Elizabeth Drayton Foster. He grew up in Cheshire, CT, where he attended Humiston Elementary School. Upon graduating, he was bussed to Hillhouse High School in New Haven, CT. In his younger years, he was a member of Mt. Zion SDA Church. As time progressed, he joined Unity Church. He is survived by his sister, Dr. Evelyn Foster-Coakley (Eugene); his special acquaintance, Christina Derby; his children: Linda Anderson, Glenn Foster (Lisa) and Seth Foster (Lisa); grandchildren: Lisa Penny Betts, Oscar Anderson, Paul Anderson, Bethany Foster and Jayden Foster and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
