Helen Styles Obituary

STYLES, Helen TRAVELERS REST, SC - Helen Robertson Styles, 90, formerly of Travelers Rest, wife of the late Tench Jerden Styles, passed away Saturday morning, March 3, 2007 at Oakmont East Nursing Center. Born in Greenville County she was the daughter of the late Frank and Betty Springfield Robertson. Mrs. Styles was retired from Stone Manufacturing, she was a member of the Eastern Star and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Travelers Rest and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She is survived by her son, Rev. Jerry Styles and wife Deborah of Goose Creek, SC; 2 brothers, Paul Robertson of Travelers Rest and Robert Robertson of Greenville; 2 sisters, Frances Rainey of Greenville and Betty Jean Hanvey of Columbia; 3 grandchildren, Jonathan Styles, Jason Styles and Jodie Hingle and husband Nicky and 1 great grandson, Noah Hingle. She was predeceased by a son, T.J. Styles, Jr. and 5 brothers and sisters, Bill Robertson, Broadus Robertson, Ralph Robertson, Lillian Taylor and Jimmy Robertson. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at the First Baptist Church of Travelers Rest with burial to follow at Enoree Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday evening at The Howze Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Travelers Rest Renovation Fund, 20 McElhaney Road, Travelers Rest, SC 29690 or Palmetto Hospice, P.O. Box 50820, Summerville, SC 29485.
