I've heard it said that a true friend is someone who will always be beside you - behind you - or in front of you through thick and thin --- will go out of their way to help you no matter the situation --- will love you even if you don't stay in touch as much as you would like, but when they hear your voice the long span of not talking just melts away. That was my dear friend Helen Smith. I called and talked to her Sunday night (October 4) - we talked and talked and talked. I didn't want to hang up, but before our conversation ended (as always) we told each other how much we loved one another -- she always said "OK Darling, I Love You and we'll talk again soon." ---- That my dear people is a true friend who I will miss forever, but will never forget all the memories!! I Love You My Dear Friend....

Helen ; I will miss you so much. We had our differences but always come closer together because of them. After Daddy died it ripped my heart open. You and Dad took me in when I had no home to go too. When I came to live with your family . You and Dad had two small Children, and I fell in love with both of them . We lost Wayman at the age of 25. He was so handsome and sweet. We all took it hard..I know Granny will be so glad to see him. When Tracie was about 6 weeks old Wayman took her on her first mother cycle ride with him. I was a little nervous but he would not hurt her and I knew it.. Hellen, when you get up into that great beyond get Daddy,Wayman , uncle Charlie and uncle Homer and all the rest of the family and friends and throw a big party. Make it a clean one. You don't want to make any waves. We wii always love you. Don't worry about Lenored, we will take of him to. He has been a blessing to you and we all have known you were in good company with him. We are all great full for all the wonderful care you have given her. It is not easy being a care giver but you did an execlant job of taking care of her. Oh ? "What's his name.?" I liked picking at you. I don' t pick on any one .I don't like.. I use to pick on Hellen' Stepdad a lot. I liked him a lot. We had fun. You will ways be a part of our family. May the Good Lord hold this greeving family in the palms of his hands for ever and ever Amen
