Helen G. Newman CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on the evening of April 20, 2012, Helen Grech Newman of Charleston, SC, widow of Henry Glover "Buddy" Newman, Jr. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. Private burial will take place in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from Noon until 1:00 p.m., prior to the service. Helen was born February 1, 1931 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late Steve Grech and the late Mary Chandy Grech. She was an active member of the Shadowmoss Ladies Golf Association, C.A.L.G.A. and Mended Hearts Support Group. She is survived by a daughter, Lyn Bradley and her husband, Peter, of Pompano Beach, FL; two sons, Steve Newman of Charleston and Tim Newman of Beaufort, SC; a sister, Sophie Beerup of Springfield, IL; and six grandchildren, Chandi Bradley, Paul Bradley, Stevie Newman, Cooper Newman, Eva Newman and Padraic Newman.
