Helen Mahon Obituary

Helen Mahon Moncks Corner - Helen Delores Regula Mahon, 85, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Thursday evening at her residence. Her funeral will be 2:00 PM, Sunday afternoon, May 22, 2016, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in the Episcopal Church of the Holy Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM this Saturday. Mrs. Mahon was born December 20, 1930 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of Lawrence John Regula and Eva Elizabeth Dunlap Regula. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Family, and she enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Throughout the years, Mrs. Mahon sold Avon, worked at the Classic Cleaners, Lord Berkeley Academy, and at the Charleston International Airport for both Global Security and the Hudson News. She was the widow of Lonnie S. Mahon. Surviving are, two sons, Wendell S. Mahon, Sr., and his wife, Shontell, and Kendell S. Mahon, Sr., and his wife, Crystal, all of Moncks Corner; a sister, Gloria R. Oliver of Charleston; ten grandchildren, Katlynn, Kendell, Chelsea, Tyler, Brenden, Justin, Wendell, Stephen, Morgan, and Blake; and four great-grandchildren.
