Helen Duckworth Obituary

Helen Duckworth HOLLYWOOD, SC - Helen Duckworth passed away peacefully in the late evening of April 25, 2014. Her final days were spent at her home in Hollywood, SC, surrounded by loving family and friends. She touched the lives of many through her lifetime and will be dearly missed. She lived her life to the fullest and was able to achieve her dream of working and living as an artist. Although her body could no longer fight the illness, her enduring spirit allowed her to live long enough to spend much quality time with her family and friends. Helen is survived by her two children, Emily Jane Morgen and Christopher Duckworth Thompson; and two sisters, Anna Margaret Duckworth and Jane Elizabeth Duckworth Brooks. A Celebration of Helen's Life will be held on Saturday May 3, 2014 at 1005 West Ashley Ave, Folly Beach, SC 29439 from 12:00 P.M. until the evening. Helen's ashes will be scattered in the ocean at sunset. In lieu of flowers please send any donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Helen's honor.
