Helen C. Crawford MACEDONIA, SC - Helen Caddell Crawford, 69, of Macedonia, SC, a former supervisor at St. Stephen Knitwear, died Friday morning at her residence. Her funeral will be 3:00 PM, Monday afternoon, April 2, 2012, in the Hood's Chapel United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Hood's Chapel United Methodist Church, 2451 Highway 17-A North, Bonneau, SC 29431. Mrs. Crawford was born December 18, 1942, in Macedonia, SC, a daughter of Van "Buddy" Caddell and Julia Litchfield Caddell. She was a member of the Hood's Chapel United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed sewing, fishing, and camping. But most of all she loved reading her Bible, sitting on her back porch, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Crawford was the widow of Bobby "Bandy" Crawford. Surviving are, four daughters, Cynthia C. Moyer and her husband, Alan, of Alvin, Darlene C. McKnight and her husband, Michael, and Bobbie R. Estep all of Macedonia, and Wanda Faye Crownover of Bonneau; three sisters, Rebecca Caddell and Sue Powers both of Macedonia and Jane Logan of Summerville; two brothers, Jackie Caddell and Bobby Caddell both of Macedonia; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
