Linda, Velda, and Family: I hope you see this. We did not know! We went to the Senior luncheon today at St. Thomas. I saved her place expecting her to be there. I had tried to call her several times, but, got a recording. I had no other phone numbers. My next attempt was to drive to Goose Creek! I didn't have a good feeling! Now, I know why. So, so, sorry . We had some great memories! Much love!

Ms. Helen and my Mother, Helen Gunnells, were best friends. Now they are both together again, and I am sure are having beautiful times. Ms. Helen was not only a true friend, a great baker, and one who spoke her mind. May she Rest In Peace. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

Aunt Helen was my GREAT-GREAT Aunt. She was our children's GREAT-GREAT-GREAT Aunt, and our grandchildren's GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-GREAT Aunt. Aunt Helen has a great legacy! We looked forward to her visits to Shelbyville and Huxley, TX. One of our children now lives in Charleston, SC, so we would add Goose Creek, SC and a visit with Aunt Helen to our trips.
As I read the listing of Aunt Helen's family, I realized that I have TONS of cousins that I do not know. I realize that it is a sad time, but I know Aunt Helen would love to know that we might try to get together one day. Our home is always open!
