Helen Carroll JOHNS ISLAND - Helen Viola Elrod Carroll, age 59 of Johns Island, SC entered into eternal peace Saturday, August 24th, 2013. She was born January 28th, 1928 to the late Floyd and Delia Elrod of Six Mile, SC. She remained a member of Locust Hill Baptist Church in Travelers Rest, SC. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Warren Carroll and her sons James Warren, Jr. and John Thomas Carroll (Tommy). Tommy is survived by two children, T.J. Carroll and fiance;e Alexis, Chrissy Carroll and fiance; Eric. She also has two daughters, Elaine Stutts and Opal Cumbee. Elaine has two sons, Chuck Stutts, Jr. and his wife Cindi and Travis Stutts and wife Tammy. Opal also has two daughters, Jennifer Strock and Jamie Cumbee and fiance; Steven. Helen was the sibling of four children and is survived by one sister, Janie Elrod Cox of Six Mile, SC. Viola has 11 great-grandchildren. Her Graveside Memorial service will be held at Locust Hill Baptist Church 5533 Locust Hill Road Travelers Rest, SC 29690-9123.On August 30, 2013 at 1:00 P.M.
