Helen Brown Edisto Island - The relatives and friends of Mrs. Helen Brown are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service 11:00 AM, Friday, November 25, 2022 at Allen African Methodist Episcopal Church, 8060 Botany Bay Road, Edisto Island, SC 29438. A public viewing will be held an hour prior to service at the church. Mrs. Brown leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Walter "Maurice" Brown of Edisto Island, SC; daughter, Kenya Brown of Canton, OH; grandson, Kendyl M. Ferquharson of Norfolk, VA; a loving and devoted sister, Elnora Bennett of Hollywood, SC; loving and devoted brother, Ernest Bennett and very special sister-in-law Charlene Bennett both of Queens, NY; nieces: Geneva Bragg of Manhattan, NY, and Linda Mitchell of Hollywood, SC; nephews: Robbie JR Mitchell of Bronx, NY, MacArthur Mitchell of Hollywood, SC, Dennis Mitchell of Raleigh, NC, and Russell Mitchell of Goose Creek, SC; two great-grandchildren; Baptist Hill High School Class of 1957; and very special friends: Josephine Meggett, Lola Collins, Clara Pleasant and Charles Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents: Marie and Julius Bennett of Hollywood, SC and a brother, Charles Mitchell of Hollywood, SC.
