Hedda Johanna Ott SUMMERVILLE - Hedda "Jackie" Johanna Ott, 93, of Summerville, wife of Lt. Col. (Ret.) Forrest Eugene Ott, USAF, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at The Village at Summerville. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home at 12 o'clock followed by the funeral service beginning at 1 o'clock. Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. Mrs. Ott was born January 10, 1919 in Stuttgart, Germany, daughter of the late August Herman Jaeck and Martha Pauline Riekher Jaeck. She attended schools of Montreal, Canada. Mrs. Ott enjoyed classical music, playing tennis, reading and crossword puzzles. She was a Red Cross Volunteer for over twenty years. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, SC Chapter, Lowcountry Region, 2090 Executive Hall Road, #130, Charleston, SC 29407. Survivors, including her husband, are three daughters and one son; Beatrice Ott Baldwin of Baton Rouge, LA, Patricia Ott Wessinger of Goose Creek, Duane Forrest Ott of Columbus, OH and Marilyn Ott Mora of Lafayette, LA, five grandchildren; Stephen Matthew Baldwin of New Orleans, LA, Michelle Soldani Fontenot of Youngsville, LA, Allen Joseph Soldani, III of Lafayette, LA, Jenna Marie Wessinger of Atlanta, GA and Kyle Austin Wessinger of Salley, SC and two great grandchildren; Landry Elizabeth Fontenot of Youngsville, LA and Anderson Kyle Fontenot of Youngsville, LA and two nieces; Hannalore Collins of Savannah, GA and Edda Jackson of Kissimmee, FL.
