Susan, I have never read such a beautiful obituary. I only knew your Mamma through your eyes, but feel I knew her by the wonderful family and daughter she raised. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, it is so difficult to let someone so loved go home. She left an amazing legacy of love that I know each of you will carry for the rest of your lives that will live on for generations to come. May our Lord Bless and comfort all of you during this difficult time.

Since my childhood, the White and Martin families have been blessed by knowing Mrs Hazel and all of the Westendorff clan. I am too blessed that I was able to visit with her a few years ago (and she remembered me and my families). That was before David's passing. My love, prayers and sorrow go out to all of her children who are and have been my steadfast friends for many years.

I traded with the Westendorff's in the late 1960's and early 1970's. They were my "go to" for hardware, especially unusual and hard to find items. Very sad to read of Mrs. Westendorff's passing. What a good, full life she led. She was an example. God bless the family.

I was lucky enough to be Ms. Hazel's nurse in 2015. I loved our talks. I loved her cute headbands! I was in another room when someone read this obituary, he said that he knew her family. My heart was filled w. joy to know she lived to be 102 years old. She was beautiful inside and out. My thoughts are with her family.

I don't know where to begin. Hazel definitely was an Angel. She really was a Mother to me and all my Sisters. She case my Mother's best Friend. We grew up with all her wonderful Children. We all went to St.James Methodist Church when we were kids. My Daughter and Granddaughter loved her so very much. I really am going to miss her. I have so many wonderful memories. I love you Mom.
