Haskett Wilburn Obituary

WILBURN, Haskett Haskett Woods Wilburn, 86, of Bonneau, retired mechanic inspector with the Polaris Missile Base, died Wednesday, in a Walterboro hospital. His funeral service will be at 11 o'clock Friday morning at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Burial will be in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery at Shulerville. Friends may call at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL from 6 - 8 P M Thursday evening. Mr. Wilburn was born July 31, 1922, at Bedford, VA., a son of Robert H. Wilburn and Ethel Roberts Wilburn. He was an U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II, and he was a member of Bonneau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are a sister - Ethel Loreen W. Mixon of Walterboro; a brother - Weldall Wilburn of Beaufort; 3 nephews - Morris C. Wilburn, Jr. and his wife Barbara, of Bonneau; Van Houlditch of Fort Mill, Claude Wilburn of Charleston, and many other nieces and nephews.
