Harry Kincaid
Charleston - Harry Tipton Kincaid of Charleston, SC, died January 20, 2026. He was born on September 7, 1947, in Charleston, West Virigina. He was the son of the late Ailene and Clifford Kincaid. He was married to Diane Kincaid for 54 years. He began his life playing sports and excelled in baseball. He proudly pitched for the UNCW Seahawks, and was drafted by the Astros. His life went in another direction when he joined the Army and proudly served in the Vietnam War. He retired from Dupont and focused on enjoying his retirement with his family. He believed in being on time, and treating everyone with kindness. "People will only remember how you make them feel," he would say often, and he made everyone feel loved and appreciated.
Surviving is his wife Diane Sasser Kincaid, a caretaker, a best friend, an endless love. He is survived by his children and grandchild; Grey Kincaid, Dory Kincaid, and Graham Kincaid, all of Charleston, SC. He is preceded in his death by his brother, Richard "Dick," of Durbin, West Virginia, as well as Graham and Dorothy Sasser of Goldsboro, NC. He is survived by his brother, Thomas J. Kincaid and wife Ramona of Midlothian, Virgina. He is survived by his best friend, Phil Fields, of Seaford, Delaware, as well as his nephew, Clifford.
Per his wishes, there will be no memorial service. Instead, a family trip spreading his ashes in his favorite places will happen this summer.

I´m so glad we got to spend time together in West Virginia at our reunion. As cousins living in different states we didn´t get to spend a lot of time together when we were young, so that time together was precious. I´m so sorry for all of you. He was such a wonderful man.
