Harry DeSaussure Cale, Jr. CHARLESTON - Harry DeSaussure Cale, Jr., a retired insurance salesman and husband of Mary Heuer Cale, entered into eternal rest on February 28, 2013. He was born in Charleston, SC on November 21, 1928, a son of Harry D. and Edith Britton Cale. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary H. Cale; his sons, Harry D. Cale III (Beth) and Stephen P. Cale (Lucretia) both of Mount Pleasant; a daughter, Mary C. Zahedi; his grandchildren, Kerrie C. Schmidt (Doug), Mary Katherine Melton (DeWitt), Kevin Cale, Ashley Zahedi and Chase Zahedi as well as a brother, Jack R. Cale. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Harry D. Cale, Jr. are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30 PM Monday, March 4, 2013, at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends this Sunday afternoon between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy.
