Harold Prince Wolff CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on the evening of May 17, 2009. Harold Prince Wolff, widower of Gwendolyn Dean Wolff. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his services Friday, May 22, 2009 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL at eleven o'clock. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel one hour prior to service. Harold was born August 23, 1913 in Darlington, SC, the son of John Fredrick Wolff and Mary Henrietta Steffens Wolff. He was retired as Manager and Vice President of Haverty's Furniture Company and served on the Board of Directors. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, a Past President of the Merchants Retail Association, and a Past President of the Charleston Exchange Club. He was a former member of the German Friendly Society. He is survived by his daughter, Gwendolyn Wolff Barton of Charleston, SC, and her husband Ronald L. Barton; two grandchildren, Colleen G. Barton and Brett L. Barton; and two great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Christian. Mr. Wolff was preceded in death by his brother Carl E. Wolff.
